Doug & Norvelle Tate Endowed Athletic Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Information

Mr. and Mrs. Tate established this scholarship to aid a student in the basketball program with “solid” academic standing. Mrs. Norvelle Tate was an Associate Professor Emeritus of Sociology for many years. She and her husband also donated a lovely tree for the Radford campus and were avid supporters of RU Athletics.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicant must be a member of the men or women’s intercollegiate basketball team at Radford University.
• With a solid academic standing.
