Artis Endowed Scholarship
Mrs. Nancy Eisenhart Artis is a 1973 Radford University graduate and is a member of the Foundation Board of Directors. She is a former member of the Board of Visitors. Her husband, Dr. H. Pat Artis is a 1972 graduate of Virginia Tech. They are co-owners of Performance Associates, Inc. a business that provides products to assist licensed users in their storage acquisition activities and educational seminars to explain the complex technologies that are in today’s storage subsystems. They created this scholarship to assist deserving students pursuing a degree in the College of Science and Technology.
To be considered for this scholarship, incoming students must be U.S. citizens, Virginia residents, have at least a 3.2 GPA , plan to be full-time and plan to study in a discipline within the Artis College of Science and Technology. To be eligible for renewal following the first two full academic years or four semesters, ACSAT students must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher in their college coursework, continue to be full-time and continue to study in a discipline within the ACSAT. Current, full-time ACSAT, CVPA and WH&HS students may also be considered as long as they are full-time and have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
All students are required to successfully complete the following courses:
POSC 120 – Introduction to American Government
- Economics 101
