Paul S. Hershey Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Paul Hershey joined Radford Athletics as Director of Communication in August 2015. In June of 2017 he passed away as a result of a tragic car accident in June of 2017. His Mother, Anita Williams created this scholarship shortly after his death. Many individuals in the Radford University community contributed to this scholarship in his memory. The scholarship recognizes students who are a member of the Radford women’s softball team with an interest in Journalism, Communications or Media Studies.

Scholarship Criteria

• Demonstrated proficiency in softball and a member (current or prospective) of the Radford women’s softball team.
• Currently enrolled, or pending enrollment, as a full-time student at Radford.
• Good academic standing.
