Dr. Steve Lerch Family Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Dr. Lerch was a devoted Radford University employee for nearly 40 years. His daughter Rebecca is a 2000 RU graduate with a BS in Dance, and his daughter Courtney is a 2008 RU graduate with a BS in Criminal Justice. Dr. Lerch’s colleagues created this scholarship upon his retirement to recognize him and his wife, Eileen. The scholarship rewards a student leader who has assisted new students in their transition to RU. First preference goes to a Delta Zeta (which Dr. Lerch advised for 33 years) or a member of another Greek organization.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must have a minimum 3.4 GPA.
• Must be a rising Senior.
• Must serve as a LARC Tutor, Resident Assistant, Quest Assistant, or involved with other new student program activities.
