J. Patrick Graybeal Scholarship in Criminal Justice

Scholarship Information

Family, friends, and colleagues of Judge Graybeal created this scholarship endowment as a lasting tribute in his honor. Judge Graybeal spent four decades in the legal community of the New River Valley. He was first a lawyer, then Montgomery County Prosecutor for 25 years, and finally was a judge for more than seven years. Judge Graybeal is a former member of the RU Foundation’s Board of Directors. The scholarship provides aid to a deserving student in Criminal Justice at Radford University.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a student majoring in Criminal Justice at Radford University.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be a full-time student.
• May be renewable if meeting criteria.
• Must reapply.
