Jerry & Mary Ingles Hutchens Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Friends of Jerry and Mary Hutchens helped establish this scholarship upon Jerry’s retirement from RU. Jerry ’75, MS ’76, had a long, rewarding relationship with Radford. He served as Director of Annual Funds, Director of University Advancement and Assistant Vice President for Development. Jerry and his wife, Mary ’71, MS ’72, a former teacher in the Pulaski Public School System, relocated to Boone, NC.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Financial need required.
• FAFSA required.
• Must demonstrate leadership and community service.
