Pauline Beard Endowment for Education

Scholarship Information

Pauline Beard was a 1934 Radford College graduate who majored in Interdisciplinary Studies. She went on to have a successful career as a teacher. Ms. Beard passed away in 2005 and had included RU in her estate plans. Her estate gift endowed this Scholarship to assist students majoring in education.

Scholarship Criteria

• Students must be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student enrolled in a teaching education program seeking teaching licensure.
• Must have or maintain a 3.0 GPA.
• Be pursuing a teaching career to qualify for this scholarship.
• FAFSA required.
