Scholarship Information

The Physical and Health Education Alumni and Friends Scholarship benefits an outstanding student in the Physical and Health Education (PHED) teaching concentration at Radford University.

Scholarship Criteria

• The recipient must be an Exercise, Sport and Health Education major with a Physical and Health Education concentration.
• Have completed 12 semester hours in Exercise, Sport and Health Education.
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in major courses and overall.
• A one-page essay is required to be considered for this scholarship that demonstrates your accomplishments in the areas of (1) academic achievement, (2) leadership in your program and/or community, and (3) professional commitment (i.e., desire to learn and grow, work ethic, cooperation and participation in the classroom).
