RUC-Dr. Hugh Trout, Sr. Endowed Fund
Dr. Hugh Trout, Sr. founded Jefferson Hospital in 1908, and later, founded the School of Nursing within the hospital in 1914. This endowment was set up many years ago by friends and medical associates of Dr. Trout. The endowment continues to be a major resource for Radford University Carilion (RUC) students with financial need.

- Funds are to be used to support students participating in fall, spring, and summer classes

- I release my academic information and any FAFSA data submitted to RUC (EFC and remaining need, if a FAFSA is on file) and my contact information to Carilion’s Foundation Board so that they may make a final determination on whether I will be awarded one or more of Carilion’s Education Foundation Scholarships. I understand that Carilion’s Foundation Board will use my contact information to notify me of any scholarships for which I have been selected. I understand that Carilion’s Foundation Board will not share any of my information.
