Scholarship Information

Michelle O’Connor is a 1991 graduate of Radford University in Business Management and is the the chair of the Radford University Foundation Board. She is currently the CEO and President of the CMR Institute, a non-profit educational organization that was established by physicians more than 40 years ago that works to educate life sciences professionals and their companies with information that will increase their knowledge and understanding of the issues trending and affecting the field of healthcare. Her husband, John teaches graphic design in the art department. She encourages students to not take their education for granted based on her experience of attending school as a non-traditional student who appreciated the value of a college education.

Scholarship Criteria

• Preference for a non-traditional undergraduate or graduate student
• Preference for demonstrated financial need
• FAFSA is not required
• Preference for a resident of Virginia
