Dr. Rosalyn M. Lester Scholarship in the College of Visual & Performing Arts

Scholarship Information

Dr. Lester, RU Professor Emerita in Fashion, established the first Scholarship for the Fashion Design Department in 2008. Dr. Lester served in an administrative capacity and as Chair of the department for over 25 years. She is a Past President of the Costume Society of America, Chair of the CSA Board of Trustees, and has been selected as a CSA Fellow, in recognition of her outstanding service to the CSA in the areas of preservation, conservation, education and design. Dr. Lester is also former chair and member of the Arts Society Leadership Committee.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be an incoming or currently enrolled junior or senior student in the College of Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in Fashion Design.
• Maintain a minimum overall 2.7 GPA.
