Dr. Edward D. Jervey Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Dr. Edward Jervey is a former Radford University history professor who retired in 1991 after 30 years at the University. Alumnus Mary Ann Hovis, a 1965 graduate of Radford University served as chairman of the fund-raising campaign to endow a scholarship in Dr. Jervey’s honor on the occasion of his retirement. Alumni who graduated during the years of his tenure, faculty, friends, and family assisted in creating this endowed scholarship.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipients must have a declared major within the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences.
• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
• Must be a full-time student with upper-class status.
