Roanoke Valley Minerals & Gem Society, Inc. (RVMGS) Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Information

The Roanoke Valley Gem & Mineral Society established this scholarship in 2018. They wanted to create an endowment to benefit students majoring in Geology in the Artis College of Science and Technology.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time Radford University student majoring in Geology.
• Must be a sophomore standing or higher.
• Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Students who apply should submit a one-page essay that demonstrates their financial need and desire to pursue a career in the Geology field.
