Melva Lunceford Harris Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Melva Lunceford Harris and her late husband, Leo, established this scholarship for incoming freshmen. This scholarship was initiated to recognize students for their academic excellence. Mr. and Mrs. Harris both worked for Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. and Melva Harris graduated from Radford University in 1960. Currently, she is involved in the Wesley Foundation, YMCA, and the Capitol Club.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicant may be an incoming freshman or upper-class student.
  If student has upper-class status, applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
