RUC-Theresa A. Thomas Memorial Scholarship
In 1999, The Theresa A. Thomas Memorial Foundation awarded the Jefferson College of Health Science a grant to endow physician assistant scholarships that would be awarded annually to physician assistant students.
- Provides assistance for tuition, books and other related fees to students enrolled in the physician assistant program at Radford University Carilion (RUC).
- Awarded annually–2 awards to first year students and 2 awards to a second year student
- Priority given to a student who has origins or a commitment to work in medically under-served areas of Virginia
- Preference given to a student involved in professional activities such as the PA Student Society
