The Charlotte Rose Fonfara LaRose Scholarship Endowment

Scholarship Information

Robert Scott LaRose is a 1990 RU graduate who majored in Criminal Justice. He endowed this scholarship in 2005 to honor his daughter, Charlotte Rose Fonfara LaRose. He wanted to provide financial assistance to students pursing a degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a full-time student.
• Have a declared major seeking a teaching licensure in Special Education.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA; 3.0 GPA in major.
• Recipient must demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular, academic or community activities.
• Must submit a one page essay to describe how the applicant plans to use the scholarship award to achieve future personal and professional goals.
