Class of 1958 Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Information

This scholarship was established to benefit direct descendants of the Radford University Class of 1958 or direct descendants of their siblings.

Scholarship Criteria

In order of priority:
a. Direct descendent of a member of the Class of 1958, including direct descendants of a member’s spouse or sibling (includes legally adopted descendants).
b. Cousin or direct descendent of a cousin of a member (includes legally adopted descendants).
c. General population, with preference given to an applicant with a recommendation letter from a member

GPA requirements for the above categories:
a. Freshmen, transfers, or graduate students are eligible based on admission to the University.
b. After the first semester, undergraduates must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and graduate students a 3.0 GPA.
c. Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and graduate students a 3.0 GPA.

• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student each semester during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.
• Must have demonstrated involvement outside the classroom.
