Georgia Anne Snyder-Falkinham Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Ms. Snyder-Falkinham has been a member of the Radford University Foundation Inc. Board of Directors since 1989. She has also served as the chair of the Fine Arts Committee, a member of the Nominating Committee, Executive Committee and Saint Albans Property Committee. She also helped establish the Sampson/Falkinham Scholarship in 1988.

Ms. Snyder-Falkinham established this scholarship to benefit incoming freshman from Franklin County, then the New River Valley and Commonwealth of Virginia at large.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Applicant must have a minimum score of 1180 on the Math & English sections of the SAT exam.
• The Scholarship is renewable for four years upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
• The recipient must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 or more weeks of disciplinary probation or suspension from any institution.
