GeorgAnne Voland Buck Scholarship

Scholarship Information

GeorgAnne Voland Buck was a 1978 graduate of Radford University earning her B.A. in Theatre. She was a friend to RU and her involvement and leadership in numerous University and community activities attests to her commitment to bettering the lives of those around her. This scholarship was established in GeorgAnne’s memory by her many friends to support students of the Arts at Radford University.

Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must be a full-time incoming freshman with a declared major in Theatre.
• Demonstrate long-time commitment to and talent for the theatre arts through three (3) letters of recommendation addressed to the Chair of the Department of Theatre.
• Applicants are also encouraged to audition, submit a portfolio or other samples of their work to help further ascertain their capabilities.
• Applicants must articulate his/her preparation for and a desire to pursue an education in the theatre arts at Radford University, their philosophy of theatre and his/her goals and aspirations all of which should be addressed in a letter to the Chair of the Department of Theatre.
