Eleanor M. Deneka Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Scholarship Information

This memorial scholarship was established by Eleanor Deneka’s husband, Michael Deneka, and by her family and friends. She was an honor student in the Radford University College of Nursing. She was a talented and creative spirit who loved music, theatre, and the arts and was an active volunteer in civic and religious service throughout her life. She was a devoted wife and mother and died in 2003.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must have a declared major in Nursing.
• Must have upper class status.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must demonstrate leadership qualities in extracurricular, academic, or community activities.
• Award may be renewable upon meeting eligibility requirements.
