Robert J. Murrin Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Robert J. Murrin, served as the Radford University director of development from 1984 until his death in 1991. Mr. Murrin was also a former member of the University’s Board of Visitors, and was the motivating force behind the Radford University Foundation’s $1 million Dalton Eminent Scholar Campaign. Under his guidance, the Radford University Foundation saw unprecedented growth. Mr. Murrin is remembered for his special fondness for Radford’s students. His son, Robert Jr., graduated from Radford in 1978, followed by his daughter JoEllen in 1979.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• FAFSA required.
