George Everett Dewese and Matsue Yamazaki Dewese CRU Scottish Rite Scholarship
Scholarship Information
Mr. and Mrs. George Dewese were from Shawsville, VA. They established this scholarship to benefit descendants of Scottish Rite Masons. Mr. Dewese was a 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason. The Deweses generously endowed multiple scholarships to support students in the Waldron College of Health and Human Services and the College of Business and Economics.
Scholarship Criteria
- Full-time incoming freshmen and undergraduate student are eligible.
- Incoming freshmen must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0.
- The award is renewable if the recipient maintains a 2.8 GPA or better while remaining a full-time Radford University student.
- Major in the Davis College of Business & Economics or Communication Sciences and Disorders in the Waldron College of Health & Human Services.
- Priority to students with a Masonic affiliation or membership.
- All recipients must demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA.
