David E. & Merilyn Armstrong Scholarship
Scholarship Information
This Scholarship was created in recognition of the 36 years of service David E. Armstrong provided to Radford University. Mr. Armstrong began his career at RU in 1966 as an electrician’s helper. Shortly after he graduated from an electronics technical school in Washington, he assumed the position of grounds superintendent, and later the Director of Facilities Management, and further to the Vice President of Facilities. Mr. Armstrong remains an active member of the Radford University community.
Scholarship Criteria
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student.
- Award renewable if recipient maintains academic standing.
- Must reapply to be considered.
- Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 or more weeks of disciplinary probation or suspension from any institution of higher learning.
- FAFSA required.
