Veleatta Antionette Adams Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

This scholarship was established in memory of Valeatta Adams who, unexpectedly, passed away in 1997. At Radford, Valeatta was an outstanding student who was devoted to her peers and contributed to the University through her volunteer work, leadership, academic integrity, and many friendships. The scholarship was created to help deserving students and to keep Valeatta’s memory ever present to our student body.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student enrolled at Radford University.
• Must demonstrate academic success through minimum GPA of 3.0 in a designated major, GPA of 2.5 in overall coursework.
• Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 or more weeks of disciplinary probation or suspension from an institution of higher education.
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities at Radford University through participation in extracurricular activities that promote the welfare of all students.
