Laura Elizabeth Higginbotham Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Ms. Higginbotham “Liz” was a 1944 Radford College graduation who majored in Education. She funded a Charitable Gift Annuity. She wanted to create this scholarship through a planned gift.

Ms. Higginbotham passed away in January of 2017 and this endowment was created based on her wishes to provide financial assistance to future generations of Radford University students.

Scholarship Criteria
Applicant must be an incoming freshman.
Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
Applicant must have maintained at least a C average in high school.
