Jeremy Pate Whitt Scholarship
Scholarship Information
In 1914, one year after the opening of Radford College, Jeremy Pate Whitt began his long-time service and dedication to Radford. Mr. Whitt became registrar and director of the extension service in 1920 and served as acting president from 1936 to 1937. He was again named acting president in August of 1950 and filled this position until his death in early 1952. This scholarship commemorates Mr. Whitts hard work and commitment, which helped shape Radford into the strong academic institution that it is today.
Scholarship Criteria
