The Richfield Retirement Nursing Scholarship
Scholarship Information
The Richfield Retirement Nursing Scholarship was established by Richfield Retirement to support students in the College of Nursing, in the Waldron College of Health and Human Services at Radford University. The scholarship will provide full in-state tuition and fees annually for two upper division nursing students who will plan to work at Richfield.
Scholarship Criteria
- Students must be full-time.
- Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrate interest in gerontology.
- Recipients of the Richfield Retirement Nursing Scholarship will agree to work for Richfield Retirement for one year (12 months) for every academic year of funding and must pass the Nursing Licensing Board within 6 months of graduation.
- Awards are renewable for first-year upper division nursing students.
- Students who are selected for this scholarship will be required to sign a contract to work for Richfield for the required time or be required to pay back funds awarded.
