Melba Overstreet Henshaw Leadership Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Henshaw established this scholarship in memory of Mr. Henshaw’s mother, Mrs. Melba Henshaw. Both Ken and his wife Dorothy are 1982 graduates of Radford University. The scholarship was designed around their interest in helping students who have demonstrated leadership ability and involvement in campus and/or community service work.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Must be a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Must have demonstrated interest and involvement in campus and/or community activities.
• Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 weeks or more of disciplinary probation or suspension from any academic institution of higher learning.
• Transfer students are eligible.
