Mary Ann Jennings Hovis Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Mary Ann Jennings Hovis, a 1965 graduate of Radford College with a B.S. in Social Science, has provided a scholarship fund for deserving students who have demonstrated leadership qualities in extracurricular or community affairs.
A native of Marion, VA, Mrs. Hovis was actively involved with Radford University for many years. Mrs. Hovis was the 1995 recipient of the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Service Award.
She was a member of the RU Business Industry Council, Vice President of the National Alumni Association Executive Council, and member of the Washington D.C. Alumni Chapter. Mrs. Hovis was also the sixth recipient of Radford University’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

Scholarship Criteria

• For students in good academic standing ; renewable if student is in good academic standing at Radford University.
