The Myrna H. Rockwell Scholarship in Music

Scholarship Information

Myrna Rockwell is a 1960 Radford University graduate, who majored in Music. She was an older, married student while attending Radford University and was dedicated to her studies. Her experiences at Radford University and Pulaski High School as a teacher made a positive impact in her life. She taught Music and English and enjoyed her career doing both. She created this scholarship to assist musically vocal or instrumentally talented students.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be a resident student from Virginia or West Virginia.
  • Have a financial need.
  • Participate in some form of community service.
  • As part of the application process and purpose of fund, a candidate should indicate which area he/she would plan to follow.
