H.T. and Ola S. Bowling Family Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Ola S. Bowling created this scholarship in February 2001 to provide support to deserving students at Radford University. Mrs. Bowling is a widow and mother of five children. Her daughters Linda Bowling Gordon, Patricia Bowling Hale, and Debra Bowling Catto all graduated from Radford University, as well as Linda’s husband, Richard Gordon and Patricia’s husband, Stephen Hale. The Bowling family and their construction and contracting business, HT Bowling, have strong ties to RU.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a full-time student at Radford University.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• FAFSA required.
• Award may be renewable if recipient maintains minimum GPA requirement.
• Must reapply to be considered.
