Jennifer Blythe Bade Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Jennifer Bade was a Radford University senior psychology major and in 1991 died in a car accident. She planned to attend graduate school to continue her studies in counseling education. She served as the secretary to Psi Chi, honorary psychology fraternity. The members of Psi Chi arranged for the establishment of the memorial scholarship fund through the Radford University Foundation, with the cooperation of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bade. The first award was made in the 1992-93 academic year.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a Psychology major and a member of Psi Chi.
• Must be a full-time student with junior or senior status, or be accepted into the graduate program at Radford University.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA.
• Must demonstrate leadership qualities as described by Psi Chi standards.
