Mr. & Mrs. John S. Nye Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

This scholarship was the very first Radford University Foundation endowment. It was created through a bequest of Mr. and Mrs. Nye’s estate in 1976. John and Corinna Nye were longtime residents of Radford who were active in the community and enjoyed helping Radford students. They wanted to be able to continue this help for years to come.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student.
• Must be a commuting student native to the Radford area.
• Must remain registered on a full-time basis.
• Scholarship awarded on financial need and academic achievement.
• FAFSA required.
