Scholarship Information

In 2009 the Virginia Council on Social Welfare made a gift to create this scholarship to assist students who are majoring in Social Work. The Virginia Council on Social Welfare is an association of social work education programs and individuals that ensures and enhances the quality of social work education for a professional practice that promotes individual, family, and community well-being, and social and economics justice.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Qualifications for this scholarship require the applicant to be a Virginia resident.
  • Admitted to the Social Work major.
  • Be a full-time junior or senior undergraduate student majoring in Social Work at Radford University.
  • Have and maintain a 2.7 GPA in the Social Work major.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • FAFSA is required.
