George & Maryjim Davis, Jr. Scholarship

Scholarship Information

In honor of George M. Davis, Davis Hall was dedicated on November 10, 1988. Throughout the years, Mr. Davis has been a great asset to Radford University. From 1977 – 1987 Mr. Davis served on the Board of Visitors and served six years as rector. He was honored for his outstanding leadership skills and sound judgment, contributing to the growth and maturity for the University. His wife, Mrs. Maryjim Davis was a 1948 graduate of Radford College.

To continue their beliefs in education, the George & Maryjim Davis Endowed Scholarship has been established to make education possible for deserving students.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing.
