Dr. Shalini Elizabeth Perumpral Endowed Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Information

Dr. Perumpral is a retired professor of accounting and finance. Her esteemed career as a teacher at Radford spanned over 30 years. She was a leader within the faculty community and her field and the founding advisor for Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for business colleges. Beta Gamma Sigma recognized her as the society’s “Professor of the Year" in 2007. Dr. Perumpral was dedicated to building Radford’s business programs and instilling “good business sense" to her students, many of whom have embarked on rewarding, successful careers. Dr. Perumpral, her family and friends created this scholarship to assist Radford University Business majors who are the first members of their family to attend college.

Scholarship Criteria

• Business majors.
• Overall GPA requirement of 3.0.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Scholarship is renewable, but the student must apply each year. It is not guaranteed to be renewed.
