Judy Self Scholarship

Scholarship Information

This scholarship was created in honor of Judy Scott Self (BS, 1966 and MS, 1973) and her love of education. She spent her career in Virginia as a teacher of English, local school system administrator, and English Language Arts Specialist for the Virginia Department of Education. The Judy Self Scholarship will be given to a Virginia graduate of James River High School in Botetourt County, her alma mater; or Salem High School in Roanoke County; or Christiansburg High School in Montgomery County.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a full-time student enrolled at Radford University.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must be a graduate of Christiansburg High School in Montgomery County, James River High School in Botetourt Country or Salem High School in Salem, VA.
• FAFSA required.
