Harman, Bane, Nixon Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Nancy Bane Nixon `58 endowed this family scholarship to honor her parent’s families as well as her immediate family. This scholarship will assist a deserving sophomore, junior, or senior student pursuing a major in education. It will give preference to those planning a career in elementary education that exemplifies leadership through university and/or community service.

Scholarship Criteria

• Recipient must be a full-time rising sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a major in education.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• FAFSA required.
• Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 or more weeks of disciplinary probation or suspension from an institution of higher learning.
