The Alexander A. and Evelyn S. Nolan Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Mr. Robert Nolan and his family endowed this scholarship in the memory of his parents, Alexander and Evelyn Nolan. Mr. Nolan was the Chairman of the Old Colony Box Company, of which a portion of real estate holdings were gifted to Radford University as an expression of gratitude to the generations of Radford area employees that contributed to the success of the company.

Scholarship Criteria

• This scholarship was established to benefit students in financial need.
• Recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum grade point average of 2.5.
• Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 or more weeks of disciplinary probation or suspension from any institution of higher learning.
• Incoming freshmen are also eligible.
