Scholarship Information
P. Buckley Moss is a renowned local artist. Known as the People’s Artist, Ms. Moss has the unique ability to communicate a sense of optimism through her art. Her work is shown in numerous galleries throughout the U.S. and collectors from all over the world appreciate her beautiful and intricate work. She has exhibited her work in Muse and held many print signings as well. The National Alumni Association, in conjunction with Ms. Moss, has established a scholarship with proceeds from one of her limited edition prints. This scholarship is for graduate and undergraduate students seeking a degree in teacher education along with seeking teaching licensure.
Scholarship Criteria
- Recipient must be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student enrolled in a teaching education program seeking teaching licensure.
- Maintain a 2.5 or better GPA.
- Must be pursuing a teaching career.
- FAFSA required.
- Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 weeks or more of disciplinary probation or suspension from any academic institution of higher learning.
- Award may be renewable if recipient continues to meet eligibility requirements.
- Annual reapplication required.
