Geneva Funk McClung Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Geneva McClung was originally from Strasburg, Virginia, where her father operated a farm. She graduated from Radford College in 1931 with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. In 1966, she and her husband moved to Florida. Over the years, Mrs. McClung was very supportive of Radford and this scholarship will be a reminder of her generosity for years to come.

This scholarship was established from a bequest from Mrs. McClung in 1994.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must qualify for the Freshmen Presidential Scholarship Program.
• Recipient must demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular, academic or community activities while in high school.
