Trooper Ricky Marshall McCoy Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

Friends and family of Ricky McCoy established this scholarship in 1986. McCoy was a graduate of the University and majored in Criminal Justice. In January of 1986 McCoy, who had become a state trooper, was shot down in the line of duty. The fund provides assistance to criminal justice majors.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be an incoming or current full-time student.
• Must be a Criminal Justice Major.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must remain registered as a full-time student.
