Candice Crizer McDearmon Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Information

• Gerald McDearmon established the Candice Crizer McDearmon Memorial Scholarship in memory of his wife who passed away in 1995 while in Mexico. An RU alumnus, Mrs. McDearmon was a Roanoke School speech and hearing pathologist. She received her B.S. in Communication Science Disorders in 1975.

Scholarship Criteria

• Restricted to students who have been admitted to the graduate program in Speech/Language Pathology.
• FAFSA required.
• Priority consideration given to students with financial need.
