Bonnie Hurlburt Scholarship

Scholarship Information

This scholarship was created in honor of Ms. Hurlburt’s service and dedication to the university and her students. She served Radford University for 39 years as Dean of Students. Ms. Bonnie Hurlburt is a 1958 graduate of Radford College with a B.S. in Home Economics. She is a member of the Society of 1910 and the 1979 recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award. This scholarship was created to recognize and award leadership within the student body as a whole. The Bonnie Hurlburt Student Center was named in her honor.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Must be a full-time student.
  • Must be a rising junior or senior.
  • Must have at least 45 semester hours, 30 at Radford.
  • Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership qualities at Radford.
  • Must not be, nor ever have been, on 20 weeks or more of conduct probation or suspension from any academic institution of higher learning.
