Anna & Ruth Cronise Scholarship

This award was established by two sisters, Anna and Ruth Cronise. They were alumni of Radford College and felt the need to give back some of what they had been given during their time at Radford. The Cronise sisters lived in Fincastle, VA for most of their lives. Anna, a 1953 graduate, taught business in Roanoke City high schools and at National Business College. Ruth, a 1955 graduate, taught foreign languages in Roanoke and was a librarian at Hollins College. As devoted alumni, they attributed much of their successes in life to the undergraduate education they received. They left their assets to Radford to enable future generations of students the opportunity to pursue a college education.

The scholarship contact is their cousin, Mrs. Dotson.

The recipient must qualify for the Freshmen Presidential Scholarship Program.

If you meet the qualifications for this award, the RU Admission’s Office will notify you via email to complete the application process.
