Mary Ann Jennings Hovis Scholarship
Mary Ann Jennings Hovis, a 1965 graduate of Radford College with a B.S. in Social Science, has provided a scholarship fund for deserving students who have demonstrated leadership qualities in extracurricular or community affairs. A native of Marion, VA, Mrs. Hovis has been actively involved with Radford University for many years. Mrs. Hovis is the 1995 recipient of the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Service Award. She is a member of the RU Business Industry Council, Vice President of the National Alumni Association Executive Council, and member of the Washington D.C. Alumni Chapter. Mrs. Hovis is also the sixth recipient of Radford University’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Her involvement and efforts support both the Dr. Edward Jervey Scholarship and R.U. Magazine.
The recipient must qualify for the Freshmen Presidential Scholarship Program.
