The Mae Jennings Endowed Scholarship Fund
Before her death, Mae Jennings made known her wish to provide perpetual scholarship opportunities to deserving students. Miss Jennings was an active farmer and lived in the farmhouse where she was raised in Hillsville, Carroll County, Virginia. A retired Biology teacher at Radford High School, Miss Jennings’ commitment to academics is obvious in her establishment of this scholarship. The scholarships are for students from Radford High School or Carroll County High Schools.
Recipient must qualify for the Freshman Presidential Scholarship Program and be a student at Radford or Carroll County High Schools.
