RUC-Dorothy L. Gibboney Memorial Scholarship

Dorothy Gibboney served as a member of the college task force during the development phase of the college and was a member of its first board until her death in 1984. She was an educator in the Roanoke public school system and contributed her leadership to the education of students, and served as a civic leader in the community. This scholarship was established in her memory to benefit students in meeting their health care educational goals.

• Provides assistance for tuition, books and other related fees to students enrolled at Radford University Carilion (RUC)
• Priority is given to students demonstrating financial need
