RUC-Dr. Hugh Trout, Sr. Endowed Fund

Dr. Hugh Trout, Sr. founded Jefferson Hospital in 1908, and later, founded the School of Nursing within the hospital in 1914. This endowment was set up many years ago by friends and medical associates of Dr. Trout. The endowment continues to be a major resource for Radford University Carilion (RUC) students with financial need.

• Priority is given to students with a 3.0 GPA
• Funds are to be used to support students participating in fall, spring, and summer classes
